Registration begins October 27th at 9:00am via Eventbrite.
Class Fees will be collected November 12th – November 21st in person at the Barnsdall Junior Arts Center.
Registration Process:
Step 1– Register online via Eventbrite to reserve your spot and pay the lab fee October 27th- November 8th.
Step 2- Visit the link (Google Appointment) provided in the Eventbrite confirmation email, after registering, to schedule a time and day to pay your class fees between November 12th- November 21st.
Step 3– Visit the Barnsdall Junior Arts Center Main Office during your scheduled time to make your payment. ** cash and check (payable to the City of Los Angeles, Dept. of Cultural Affairs) ONLY.**

This class will cover several types of Photography: street photography/photojournalism, still life, nature, abstract and portrait/self portrait. In addition, the class will make prints of their assignments along the way to learn how to set up printing and understand the difference between what one sees on the monitor and the final print. Additionally, we will focus on editing photos in Photoshop. After each photo project, each student will make a selection to edit in Photoshop. |

This class will go through the process of exposing and processing film to make prints. The class will learn how to load film for developing, care for processed film, and have exposure to printing techniques and developing print paper in a wet sink. The class will bring in exposed film to be processed. The class will be asked to shoot pictures that will help to illustrate different lighting qualities. |
